Torsten was amazing! My son’s mini needed a big makeover. He called me within 2 hours with an estimate, we agreed on the work needed to be done and he completed the work in a day and a half! He even went out of his way to replace my son’s rear windshield wiper and he washed the car! He is honest, knowledgeable, and had our best interest in mind. I have to say, it was a pleasant experience.

Last February when my Mini's 'Check Engine' light came on, I posted about it on our neighborhood Nextdoor app and was referred to Torsten Brune at Prestige Autohaus. Torsten advised what he thought the problem could be and said that this was an ongoing issue with Mini and most warranties had been extended to cover it. He said he was happy to book the repair appt but suggested I check with the dealership first since it is a costly repair. Sure enough, the problem WAS covered under a recall/extended program and the dealership made the (very expensive) repairs at no cost to me. As one previous Mini owner commented in an earlier review: "Who does that!? I would have trusted him to fix it and been none the wiser, but he sacrificed his own self-interest and was honest and helpful..." I couldn't agree more! To add to this incredible customer service story, here's something more: A couple weeks ago when I was driving through the same warehouse parking area looking for an alignment shop that I was referred to, Torsten stepped outside his shop door and called out to me asking if he could help me find someone. I told him, he directed me to the alignment shop, then said, "Hey, so I remember you now. Was the dealership able to help you out?" This is just customer service at the highest level--and he hasn't even worked on my car! YET. Any future issues that arise for my Mini, I know it will be in excellent hands with this man and his shop.

Torsten did a phenomenal job on my 86 QV S3. All the issues that I have addressed has been fixed from top to bottom without any hiccups. He also did a full inspection/diagnostics which is a plus in order to reveal the hidden issues that we regular people cannot see as a highly skilled technician. Honest man with quality work always comes to a price, he will show/pinpoint you in person the real issues of the car that will need repair so that you wont have to come to the shop more often to get your car being fixed. Bundle the work one time to save labor cost since he has a lot of exotic/vintage cars lined up everyday that needs his services.

I'm someone who generally avoids shops at all costs and I try to do everything myself since I've had too many bad experiences. I had Prestige replace the clutch in my 1990 Ferrari 348 and could not have asked for a better experience. Torsten is fantastic to work with, and he excels where most shops fail: communication. I received email updates as parts arrived, repairs were started, etc, so I never felt like I was out of the loop. The quality of work was excellent as well. I'm definitely taking the car here from now on.

Torsten is an honest and excellent mechanic. He restored a 19 year old BMW that would not pass CA smog to a safe and reliable car for my daughter. I could not be more thankful.

Torsten is the new owner of this shop and he's a skilled, honest mechanic who knows the ins and outs of Italian cars like my Alfa and the many Ferraris and Lamborghini that are entrusted to him. As a bona fide German, he's also well versed in German cars, and even the oddballs like a Peugeot 205, Ford Escort Mk1, or other cool cars you'll probably never see outside of a show. I just told my wife the other day "if something ever happens to me, this is where you bring your cars." How's that for an endorsement?

Prestige Autohaus services my 2014 Maserati Quattroporte and I could not ask for a friendlier team of folks. I know that their prices are always fair and they love what they do. They are not here to rip their customers off like many of the other local mechanics (and the dealerships). I could not ask for more fair prices or better people.
