Torsten did a pre purchase inspection of my FIAT 124 Spider and did a great job. He flagged everything, even the windshield wipers not being 100% perfect. Ultimately the car was in great condition, but it was helpful to know all the little things that weren’t perfect with the car so I can keep an eye on them for the future. It’s easy to get to Prestige Autohaus, park and have a good conversation with Torsten about European cars. Side note, this is one of the few places in town that services Italian cars, especially FIAT. I’ll be bringing my Spider back for regular maintenance.

Thanks Matt, pleasure working on your Fiat 124 Spider Abarth. Have fun!

One stop shop for all my maintenance needs! Torsten is extremely helpful and made the process simple and easy. I appreciate his honest advice and attention to detail. I have been coming here for the past few years and will continue coming!

Torsten is very honest and doesn’t try to up-sell you in services needed. I inherited a 1985 Porsche that hadn’t been driven in at least 2 years and was spitting out more smoke than any factory you have ever seen. The car also needed a new ignition switch as well as all new tires. After seeing how much the car smoked, and knowing about the ignition switch and tires, he guesstimated it could cost upwards of $5000 and possibly more to get it running properly. Instead the final bill was under 4K. He could have tried to add some other stuff to the bill to get it to $5000 as that is what I was prepared for but he didn’t. Plus, I live Marin so communication was key and he did a great job keeping me informed on what was happening. I highly recommend his shop.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to take my 911 to Prestige Auto! All the reviews are correct, Torsten is great! I am so happy I found a mechanic that I am comfortable with and can trust. I have 2 Porsche's in my garage and they will both be going to Prestige from now on!

I consider myself very lucky to have found Torsten Brune at Prestige Autohaus in Walnut Creek.. I have a 1961 VW Beetle that was in sad shape after being stored for 10 years. It needed a lot of work to bring it up to par. When I first spoke to Torsten ( I was searching for a good mechanic who would restore it to its old self), I immediately felt I could trust him and knew he would do a good job. I visited his shop and noticed it was clean and organized. I also noticed the amazing classic cars he was working on and could see that the cars looked immaculate. Good sign. It took awhile to complete the renovation but I knew parts were not easy to come by, especially during COVID. Torsten had my car detailed and didn’t charge me for it…he said he did it for his own satisfaction. I was delighted when I saw the car. I don’t remember it ever looking this good and I’ve known it all it’s life! He also recommended Hagerty Classic Car Insurance. They charged me $164 for a year of insurance with lots of perks, superior to what my own insurance company was about to charge me ($400 for 6 months and no perks). Thank you Torsten, for everything. I highly recommend him as a reliable, trustworthy person and a brilliant mechanic.

Great service. Most importantly, I TRUST them. They've kept my RAV4 on the road for the better part of its 200,000 miles. *****

Excellent service. On time and fairly priced. No upselling like other garages. Very personable service.

Brought my Maserati in with a check engine light on. Prestige quickly found and fixed the problem without trying to add on the $2500 worth of things they found and recommend" that have nothing to do with what you brought the car in there for. All in all an honest shop that knows what they are doing and only fixes what needs to be fixed without jerking out around or talking down to you like so many other shops.
